![]() However, the problem is still occurring, and right now, it's not with getting the 2 computers to see each other in the game, but getting the game to recognize the IPX driver (which is why I'm thinking maybe I do need the special IPX.COM driver the manual mentions. I set both computers to 802.2, and did not specify any network numbers. Yes, both computers are XP, although one is Home Editon and the other is Media Center edition. Used to do a good job of bringing IPX support to games under Windows, but I don't know if it'll work with Windows XP 64-bit either. IPX/SPX is pretty much obsolete, and I'm not aware of any plans to offer it in either Windows XP 64-bit or Vista. If you do have Windows XP 64-bit, I think you're out of luck. If you have a 32-bit version of Windows XP (you probably do you would've had to go get the 64-bit version specially), you can install it by going to Control Panel Network Connections, right-click Properties on Local Area Connection, Install, Protocol, NWLink IPX/SPX/etc. ![]()
